Accessibility
A good part of our work involves older property owners and older clients. A website they cannot read is a website that has failed at its job.

What we are aiming at
We build against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 at Level AA. We are not claiming a formal audit or certification. We are telling you the standard we design to and where we currently think we stand against it.
What we have actually done
- Text contrast. Body text and headings are set against backgrounds that clear the AA contrast ratio. This is why the site is light throughout with no dark theme.
- Real text, not pictures of text. Every figure, heading and label is selectable, searchable and readable by a screen reader.
- Type sized for reading. Body text is set larger than the web average, with generous line height and line lengths kept near sixty five characters.
- Zoom without breakage. The layout holds at 200 per cent browser zoom without content being cut off or requiring sideways scrolling.
- Keyboard use. Every link, button, menu and popup can be reached and operated with a keyboard, and the focused element is visibly outlined.
- Popups behave. The country panel and the purpose chooser can be closed with the Escape key as well as with a button.
- Headings in order. One main heading per page and a logical hierarchy beneath it, so a screen reader user can jump around the page.
- Descriptive links. Links say where they go instead of saying "click here".
- Images described. Meaningful images carry alternative text and decorative ones are hidden from assistive technology.
- Works on a phone. Built mobile first, with tap targets sized for real thumbs.
- No motion traps. Nothing flashes, and the moving ticker respects the reduced motion setting in your operating system.
- Plain language. Where a legal or tax term is unavoidable, we explain it the first time rather than assume it.
Where we know we fall short
Publishing this honestly is more useful to you than a clean claim:
- Tables. Some comparison tables scroll sideways on a narrow phone. They are readable, but a wider screen is easier.
- PDF reports. Valuation reports we issue are not tagged for screen readers. If you need a report in an accessible format, ask and we will provide it as accessible text at no charge.
- Third-party content. Anything embedded from elsewhere is outside our control.
- No formal audit yet. Nobody independent has tested this site against WCAG end to end. Until they have, treat this page as our own assessment.
Other ways to reach us
If this website does not work for you, you never have to use it. Everything here is available by voice or message:
- Phone and WhatsApp. +91 89208 74097. Voice notes are welcome, in Hindi or English.
- Email. nrivaluers@gmail.com. Ask for large print or plain text and you will get it.
- Through somebody you trust. Many of our clients deal with us through a son, daughter or relative in India. That is entirely normal and we are glad to work that way, with your authorisation.
Tell us when something breaks
If a page is hard to read, a control will not work with your keyboard or screen reader, or something is confusing, write to nrivaluers@gmail.com. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and what you use to browse. We aim to respond within five working days, and to fix genuine barriers quickly rather than adding them to a list.
Questions about any of this?
Write to nrivaluers@gmail.com or message +91 89208 74097. We answer plainly, and we would rather explain a clause than have you agree to something you did not follow.
